We have some super friends visiting from Canada for a few days. Today we drove to South Philadelphia to get cheese steaks at Pat's King of Steaks. On the way there we hit terrible traffic. We were all very hungry at that point and one of our friends, jokingly, said we should have grabbed a couple "pogos" at the gas station for the ride. I asked what the heck those were.I learned that in Canada, corn dogs may be referred to as "pogo sticks" or "pogos", after a popular brand name.
